Uncontested Divorce
An uncontested divorce is when you and your ex-spouse have agreed on how to split everything. This includes the house, kids, pets, assets, and anything else to be considered in a divorce. If you have already decided and agreed upon all considerations, we are able to write a property settlement agreement. All that is left to do is wait six months if you don’t have kids, or a year if you do have kids, to file the divorce.
It is the most cost effective divorce scenario. Many people are able to be successful with an uncontested divorce. This takes both parties to work together through often times emotional topics. Uncontested divorce, in addition to being the most inexpensive way to divorce, allows all involved to move on without a lot of rancor and hard feelings.
